Arnold Allen is all set for the toughest test of his career at UFC: London.

Confirmed by the UFC on Monday, Allen will take on Dan Hooker in the latter’s return to the featherweight limit on March 19th at the O2 Arena.

Hooker (21-11), who is currently ranked as the #8 lightweight contender by the promotion, has spent the past five years at 155 lbs after mixed success at the featherweight limit upon his UFC debut. The New Zealander would exchange wins and losses in his first six bouts for the promotion before moving up in weight class brought four straight stoppage victories. ‘The Hangman has since been an ever-present in the lightweight rankings and holds victories over the likes of Gilbert Burns, Al Iaquinta and Paul Felder.

Allen (17-1) meanwhile has remained unbeaten in his eight-fight UFC tenure thus far making his current run of wins to 10 across his career. ‘Almighty’ is ranked as the #7 contender in the UFC’s featherweight rankings after picking up wins against Mads Burnell, Gilbert Melendez and Sodiq Yusuff.
