Brandon “Killer B” Davis | 14-8 | 5’10 135 lbs. | Age 31 | Reach 72” | Orthodox Stance | Fighting Out of D’Iberville, Mississippi

Brandon Davis (14-8) looks to make good on his second UFC opportunity. “Killer B” earned his return to the octagon off the back of four straight victories and the 31-year-old bantamweight lines up against Danaa “Storm” Batgerel (9-2) at UFC Vegas 40.

Brandon Davis was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1990. He relocated to small-town Fulton, Mississippi where he attended Itawamba CC and earned an AA in Athletic Training. Davis then drove an hour and change south, transferring to Mississippi State where he graduated with a Biological Science degree. But more pertinently, Davis found MMA and began training during his last years of school.

Brandon now with degrees in both hands decided to double down on his newfound passion. Putting his academia to one side, Davis took his first fight just four months after starting training. He won that bout by TKO (doctor stoppage) and fought to a 6-2 amateur record before turning pro.

Brandon would go on to earn a 2017 Contender Series shot, which he won by decision, then battled to a 2-5 UFC record fighting some truly tough competition like Zabit Magomedsharipov and Giga Chikadze. After being cut, Davis dropped ten pounds to the 135 division and won four straight, two of which by stoppage. He’s now a new man at bantamweight (with a new mullet to boot) and I am very intrigued to see how much his skill set has improved.
