Oleksiejczuk (14-2, 1 NC) is currently on an 11-fight win streak professionally and has gone 2-0 with one no contest since signing with the UFC in 2017. The Polish fighter has earned both of his UFC wins via first-round TKO.
Saint Preux (23-13) conversely will enter the Copenhagen event on the back of a two-fight losing streak. ‘OSP’ has lost back-to-back fights to Dominick Reyes and Nikita Krylov but the 36-year old hold still holds an 11-8 record within the UFC.
In the other announced fight, Cutelaba (14-4, 1 NC) will look to return to the win column after suffering a second-round submission loss to Glover Teixeira in his last outing. ‘The Hulk’ has gone 3-3 since joining the UFC in 2016 and has won all but one of his professional victories inside the distance.
Rountree (8-3, 1 NC) meanwhile will look to build upon a career-best performance against Eryk Anders at UFC 236. Following a change in camp, Rountree put on a dominant performance against Anders in April in which he scored four knockdowns over three rounds.
UFC: Copenhagen is now slated to feature:
- Jack Hermansson vs. Jared Cannonier
- Gunnar Nelson vs. Thiago Alves
- Ion Cuțelaba vs. Khalil Rountree Jr.
- Michał Oleksiejczuk vs. Ovince Saint Preux
- Macy Chiasson vs. Lina Länsberg
- Alessio Di Chirico vs. Peter Sobotta
