Following his release from the UFC, John Lineker has quickly found himself a new home.
With MMAFighting the first to report the news before official confirmation by Lineker himself, the hard-hitting bantamweight fighter has signed a multi-fight deal with ONE Championship.
“ I will answer all the questions out there about myself in the Ring! People will be changing the channel to watch me fight! I will continue to do what I love! Fight and put on a show! Thank you 1 for having me! @Alexdavismma @ONEChampionship

Lineker (31-9) becomes the latest in a long line of former UFC fighters to join ONE with the likes of Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez making the move last year.
‘Hands of Stone’ was surprisingly released from his UFC deal last week following his withdrawal from a co-main event fight against Rob Font last month. The Brazilian had pleaded with the promotion for more frequent fights and subsequently signed up to be a late notice replacement against Font at UFC Fight Night 154.
Lineker, however, would fail to weigh in for the fight after allegedly suffering a cut to his face during his weight cut. Lineker’s withdrawal from the bout marked the second time that the 29-year old was forced out of a scheduled fight this year.
