Sky Sports has entered the MMA scene as the broadcaster has signed a one-year deal to show Bellator’s main shows.

Sky Sports have today confirmed that their deal with Bellator will show a minimum of 20 events and starts with the hotly anticipated clash between British welterweight contenders Paul Daley and Michael ‘Venom’ Page at Bellator 216 on February 16th.

With Bellator events set to air exclusively on Sky Sports Action and Sky Sports Main Event in the UK and Ireland, the broadcaster has confirmed that Ireland’s James Gallagher’s return to action will be aired at Bellator 217 on February 23rd while Bellator’s welterweight grand prix will also be shown.

  • Bellator 219: Koreshkov vs. Larkin – Friday, March 29 – Pechanga Resort Casino – Temecula, CA, USA
  • Bellator 220: MacDonald vs. Fitch – Saturday, April 27 – SAP Center – San Jose, CA, USA
