After defeating Conor McGregor by a fourth-round submission back in October, Khabib Nurmagomedov has reportedly been offered $15 million (£11.8 million) to face the Irishman again, talkSPORT report.
Nurmagomedov’s win over McGregor will ultimately be remembered for the chaos after the bout, with the Russian leaping the Octagon to attack McGregor’s team-mate Dillon Danis.
The clash was the biggest pay-per-view card in UFC history, with over 2.4 million buys, however, ‘The Eagle’ could face a nine month ban for his part in the mass brawl following the main event.
Despite Nurmagomedov’s potential punishment, the Russian has reportedly been offered the chance to face his rival again.
Talking to Sport 24’s Yaroslav Stepanov, Nurmagomedov’s father, Abdulmanap, stated that his son has been offered a huge sum to face the Irishman again, but insisted the team would want double what’s being offered.
They offered $15million (£11.8million) to rematch with Conor.
But we want $30million, guys. $30million!
Abdulmanap then went on to add that his 30-year-old son has no plans of retiring just yet, claiming he has three of four ‘battles’ left in him.
Khabib has three to four battles left. I think that’s enough. How it goes, the Almighty alone knows, but the plans are as follows.
