The UFC’s first PPV event of 2019 has added two high ranking lightweight fights.

Announced officially by the UFC, James Vick is set to take on Paul Felder while Francisco Trinaldo will face off against Islam Makhachev at UFC 233 on January 26th.

Vick (13-2) most recently suffered a knockout loss to Justin Gaethje which snapped a four-fight win streak in the lightweight division. Since signing with the UFC in 2013, Vick has gone 9-2 and is currently ranked #11 in the promotion’s 155 lbs weight class.

His opponent, Paul Felder (15-4), will also enter UFC 233 off of a loss after facing off against Mike Perry in a short-notice welterweight contest. Prior to facing Perry, Felder had gone on a three-fight winning streak with all of those victories coming via TKO and is ranked #15.

In the other announced bout, Trinaldo (23-6) will look to record back-to-back wins for the first time since 2016 as the 40-year-old Brazilian looks to follow up on a TKO victory over Evan Dunham at UFC Fight Night 137. Trinaldo sits at #13 in the lightweight division’s rankings.

Makhachev (16-1) meanwhile is currently on a four-fight win streak at 155 lbs and most recently defeated Kajan Johnson in July via a first-round armbar.
