Khabib offered Bellator contract by 50 Cent
With Khabib Nurmagomedov threatening to quit the UFC, the Russian fighter has been offered a lifeline by alternative MMA company Bellator with a $2 million deal on the cards.
Rapper 50 cent, who has become a sort of brand ambassador for the rival company has offered a cash in hand $2 million deal to the Russian should he join Bellator.
Twitter: I️ think it’s wrong what the UFC is doing to Khabib, they didn’t do the same thing to McGregor. I’ll pay 2 million… https://t.co/2xP5p2mHKg (@50cent)
Following the fiasco following Khabib’s UFC 229 win against Conor Mcgregor the Russian looks likely to be suspended with a hearing set for the 28th of October.
At current Khabib’s $2 million fight purse is still being with held by the Nevada state athletic commission, not to mention the Russian still could lose his lightweight belt with rumours UFC President Dana White could strip Khabib of his title.
The 5ft 11 lightweight’s relationship with the UFC seems in tatters the Dagestan wrestler has received deals from the WWE
Despite a very generous deal from the American rapper ultimately Khabib is still under contract by the UFC, and only of his contract is breached and subsequently terminated can he sign deals with Bellator or the UFC.
Offers from both the WWE and the Bellator while is currently meaningless, it only further highlights how important Khabib is and can be to any organisation. A fighter Dana White, cannot afford to lose.
