With a trademark left hook, Jimi Manuwa put an exclamation point on his top four ranking by putting Corey Anderson to sleep in the first round.

After landing the finishing blow, Manuwa went on to call out the winner of the upcoming Daniel Cormier vs ‘Rumble’ Johnson title fight with a special shout-out to David Haye just in case his MMA aspirations aren’t met.

In the co-main event, Gunnar Nelson finished Alan Jouban with a slick arm-in guillotine after setting up the submission with a heavy straight right which put the American on wobbly legs.

Elsewhere, Marlon Vera stunned the London crowd with a flush head kick on Brad Pickett bringing an unfortunate end to the career of a UK MMA pioneer. ‘One-Punch’ had edged the previous two rounds against the Ecuadorian fighter but as Vera picked up the pace, his accuracy at range increased before delivering a devastating blow to the London native. What followed was an emotional speech from both fighters with Pickett offering a poignant farewell to the sport which he has served admirably for 13 years.
