Conor McGregor has taken to social media to reflect on his assault charges after he attacked a bus filled with UFC fighters earlier this month.
McGregor is currently awaiting trial after an attack in Brooklyn, where he threw a metal dolly which smashed the window of the bus, following a media day for UFC 223.
The post on Instagram did not directly refer to the attack but showed him sat down gazing into the distance with the caption saying that he learns lessons every day, suggesting he was remorseful for the incident.
The Irishman has not fought in the Octagon since victory against Eddie Alvarez made him a two-time world champion in November 2016 and it is now looking doubtful that he will return to the company any time in the near future.
McGregor is due back in court on June 14th after he was released on $50,000 bail. If found guilty of all charges, he could be facing up to seven years in prison.
