With Dustin Poirier besting former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis in a three-round battle, the main event of UFC Fight Night 120 may well have been one of the fights of the year.

As the momentum shifted between the two fighters, both on the feet and in grappling exchanges, the Norfolk, Virginia crowd responded in kind to a breathtaking finale of an interesting night of fights.

While not every fight on the main card provided anywhere near the same level of entertainment as the main event, a whole host of fighters did manage to put their names into possible title contention. From Poirier in the headline berth to Marlon Moraes on the preliminary card, UFC Fight Night 120 will have provided the UFC matchmakers Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard plenty to consider.
